In the case of battery measurement, place the battery in the background magnetic field. The battery changes the background magnetic field, which can be measured by an atomic magnetometer. Wickenbrook added: "This change provides us with information about the battery charging state, remaining battery power and possible damage. The research team said that the detection capability of this technology is expected to be used for research, quality control or evaluation during battery operation.
