1. Should the newly purchased lithium battery be charged or discharged first, and how should it be charged and discharged?
First, perform low current discharge (usually set to 1-2A), and then use 1A current to charge and discharge for 2-3 cycles to activate the battery.
2. The new battery has just started using, but the voltage is unbalanced. After charging and discharging several times, it returns to normal. What is the reason?
Although there is no problem with the pairing of individual cells in the battery pack, there may still be individual differences in self discharge. A new battery usually takes more than 3 months from the factory to the customer's hands, during which the individual cells may exhibit different voltages due to different self discharge, resulting in a larger voltage difference (i.e. imbalance) in the battery pack.
