12V Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries

A typical 12V LiFePO4 battery uses four LiFePO4 cell groups connected in series and has a nominal voltage of 12.8V. The normal maximum charging voltage is approximately 14.6V. Compatibility with the equipment and charger should still be confirmed before replacing a 12V lead-acid battery.

The current catalog includes 12V LiFePO4 battery capacities ranging from approximately 6Ah to 400Ah. Available options include regular, smart LCD, Bluetooth and self-heating series. Product availability and specifications should be confirmed on the individual product page.

The charger profile and maximum voltage must be checked. A charger with a LiFePO4 mode and an output of approximately 14.6V is recommended. Lead-acid chargers that use desulfation, equalization or prolonged high-voltage charging may not be suitable.

Selected 12V models can be connected in series to build higher-voltage systems. All batteries must be the same model and capacity and should have a similar state of charge. The maximum supported series and parallel configuration varies by model and must be confirmed in the datasheet.

LiFePO4 batteries can normally discharge below 0°C, but charging at low temperatures requires additional protection. For cold climates, a self-heating model is recommended. Hysincere self-heating batteries can activate internal heating during low-temperature charging according to the model specifications.
