There are 59 installed enterprises, and the installed capacity of power battery is about 17.5GH, down 41.7% year on year; Among them, the installed capacity of the last 20 enterprises reached 17.3 GMH, accounting for 98.7%; The installed capacity of the top ten enterprises accounted for 93.7%, with a year-on-year growth of 6.3%; The top three enterprises, Ningde Times, LG Chemical and BYD, accounted for 77.1% of the installed capacity, showing a trend of further concentration. At the same time, the top structure of the list of power battery enterprises has also changed, from the two giants of Ningde Times (44.3%) and BYD (24.5%) in the first half of 2019 to the three pillar enterprises of Ningde Times (48.7%), LG Chemical (14.2%) and BYD (14.2%). The obvious trend is that the installed capacity of joint venture brands has increased significantly. On the power battery market in the first half of 2019, the installed capacity of the joint venture brand only accounted for 4% of the market share, but by the first half of this year, it had soared to 30.27%, of which Tesla accounted for 21% of the sales of new energy vehicles, while LG Chem and Panasonic, which provide batteries, seized 16% of the power battery market. In the first half of this year, among the top ten enterprises in the Chinese market, only LG Chemical, AVIC Lithium, Panasonic and Tafel achieved year-on-year growth in installed capacity. Among them, LG Chemical increased by 44764.1%, Panasonic increased by 730.5% and Tafel increased by 14.7%. The other six enterprises showed negative growth year on year, among which BYD, Lishen and EVIL had the largest drop, down 66.4%, 62.8% and 62.8% respectively. The accelerated penetration of foreign battery manufacturers has greatly changed the power battery market pattern in China. After Tesla was made in China this year, LG Chem and Panasonic achieved significant growth in their installed capacity in the Chinese market, ranking among the top ten camps in China. LG Chem ranked second over BYD and Panasonic ranked seventh. Compared with the same period in 2019, the ranking of other enterprises has changed, except that Ningde Times still ranks first. Avic Lithium battery grew the most, from eighth to fourth; Li Shen fell the most, from fourth to eighth. BYD fell from the second place to the third, Guoxuan Hi Tech fell from the third to the fifth, Yiwei Lithium Energy fell from the fifth to the sixth, and SAIC Motor of the Times fell from the seventh to the ninth. Funeng Technology, BIC and dofluoro were eliminated from the top ten.

The products cover passenger cars, passenger cars, special vehicles and other fields. The last five enterprises are Weilai, GAC, Ideals, Weima and Xiaopeng, which support joint venture brands such as FAW Volkswagen, BMW Brilliance, SAIC Volkswagen, GAC Toyota and Beijing Hyundai. Ningde Times also reached power battery cooperation with Tesla, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover, Peugeot Citroen, DaimlerCar and other international automobile enterprises. Since July, Ningde Times has officially supplied goods to Tesla. LG Chemical: The installed capacity is 2488.8mwh, accounting for 14.2% of the market, surpassing BYD and ranking second. Its products are mainly matched with domestic model 3 and SAIC GM new energy model. The latest news is that Tesla has asked for more batteries. LG Chem plans to start producing batteries for Tesla at its Korean plant this year. At present, the domestic type 3 battery is provided by Nanjing Battery Factory. BYD: The installed capacity is 2477.2mwh, accounting for 14.2% of the market. BYD is involved in many fields such as passenger cars, buses and trucks. In addition to supporting batteries for its 60800 new energy vehicles, the company also provides batteries for Chang'an Automobile, Chang'an Ford and Jinkang. AVIC Lithium Battery: The installed capacity is 760.0mwh, with a year-on-year growth of 53.6%, which is only second to Ningde Times, LG Chemical and BYD. At present, AVIC Lithium Battery focuses on the field of passenger vehicles, and its supporting customers are mainly Chongqing Chang'an, GAC passenger vehicles and Jinkang New Energy. Guoxuan Hi Tech: the installed capacity is 661mwh, ranking fifth. The products are mainly passenger car batteries. The top five supporting automobile enterprises are BAIC New Energy, Chery, JAC New Energy, Chang'an Automobile and SAIC GM Wuling. Recently, Volkswagen has invested about 1.1 billion euros to become a major shareholder of Guoxuan Hi Tech, and Guoxuan Hi Tech will become a certified battery supplier of Volkswagen in the future. Panasonic: The installed capacity is 362.36mwh, ranking sixth. At present, Panasonic mainly supports Tesla, GAC Toyota and Tianjin FAW Toyota.
