Due to the fact that the AGV car is an intelligent handling robot that requires high output over a long period of time, it needs to withstand a very large load. As time and load increase, the battery will experience short circuits after discharge. Especially in the summer that comes with it, AGV cars have very high environmental requirements. How to keep AGV cars with high range in hot and hot weather requires us to have the correct charging method for AGV car lithium batteries.
The AGV trolley lithium battery generally adopts two types of batteries, namely, ternary lithium battery cell and Iron(III) phosphate lithium battery cell. The ternary lithium battery cell has a large capacity, which can quickly release capacity during charging and discharging. The Iron(III) phosphate lithium battery cell is a ternary lithium battery cell that mainly stores energy with lead acid, with high energy density, long cycle life and low environmental requirements. The Iron(III) phosphate lithium battery cell is very suitable for use as an AGV car due to its structural characteristics, small size, strong anti voltage capability, low Thermal runaway coefficient, etc.
1. When summer comes, the weather temperature gradually increases. When charging the AGV car, try to choose the vent for charging. Because the increase of the weather temperature, coupled with the heat generated in the battery during charging, will easily affect the damage of the Lithium iron phosphate battery, so it is better to choose the vent for charging instead of the closed environment.
2. The use of original chargers is crucial. Many users will purchase other unsuitable chargers after the charger is damaged or the connector is oxidized. Because the charger parameters are different from the battery parameters, it is easy to cause the battery to age and become less durable.
3. Fast charging, in recent years, due to its ability to charge faster and improve usage efficiency, many industrial equipment users have chosen to use fast charging. Although fast charging is good, using it once or twice may not cause much harm, but long-term use can affect the battery life.
4. The charging method is recommended to follow the principle of shallow charging and shallow discharging. The remaining 30% of the battery should be charged, and the power should be cut off promptly after it is fully charged.
