If the remaining capacity is still 70-80%, it is a great waste to directly recycle the batteries. National policies support the industrialization exploration of the utilization of power lithium batteries. The Energy Saving and New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2012-2020) issued in July 2012 clearly stated that "we should formulate management measures for power Battery recycling recycling, establish a management system for power battery cascade utilization and recycling, and clarify the responsibilities, rights and obligations of all relevant parties. The field of reusing lithium-ion batteries for new energy vehicles mainly targets the fields of ICT, households, and renewable energy generation and energy storage. Although the practice of reusing power lithium batteries has not yet been carried out in China, there have been years of demonstration experience in Japan and the United States. Japan and South Korea have been focusing on research on the reuse of power batteries since the beginning of the development of new energy vehicles. These preliminary research works provide a good reference for China to carry out battery reuse research.
