National policies support the industrialization exploration of the utilization of power lithium batteries. The field of reusing lithium-ion batteries for new energy vehicles mainly targets the fields of ICT, households, and renewable energy generation and energy storage. Although the practice of reusing power lithium batteries has not yet been carried out in China, there have been years of demonstration experience in Japan and the United States. Japan and South Korea have been focusing on research on the reuse of power batteries since the beginning of the development of new energy vehicles. These preliminary research works provide a good reference for China to carry out battery reuse research.
