Coupled with the increasing market demand for lithium iron phosphate batteries in the electrochemical energy storage field in the coming years, the production growth rate of lithium iron phosphate batteries will far exceed that of ternary lithium batteries.
2. The product strength of lithium iron phosphate batteries is also rapidly improving. Several industry experts have stated that the product performance and cost advantages of lithium iron phosphate batteries are currently very prominent. Since BYD launched its lithium iron phosphate blade battery in 2020, the traditional disadvantage of having an energy density lower than that of ternary lithium batteries has weakened. At the same time, continuous technological innovation has enabled lithium iron phosphate batteries to basically meet the needs of all vehicle models with a range of less than 600 kilometers. Especially, new energy vehicle companies such as BYD and Tesla have brought strong impetus to the growth of demand for lithium iron phosphate batteries.
