  Reducing battery costs has always been an important solution direction in the industry. In addition to the cost reduction brought about by the improvement of battery system and service life, the current main cost reduction plans are scaling up and resource recycling. From the perspective of Tesla, the most successful new energy vehicle company in the world, its use of 18650 cylindrical batteries (battery model: diameter 18mm, length 65mm) has decreased costs by about 40% from 2007 to 2012 due to scale expansion. In the future, with the popularization of new energy vehicles and the large-scale production of power batteries, the cost of batteries will be further reduced to below 2 yuan/Wh, thereby achieving the 2015 planning goal in the "Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2012-2020)".

Lead acid batteries have established a complete recycling network and industry chain, and generally have a recycling value of 30% when recycling.
