  3. Factors Affecting the Range of Lithium Phosphate Battery

  (1) Battery capacity: The larger the battery capacity, the longer the standby time. The battery of electric vehicle will use "kwh" as the measurement unit, which is usually called "degree". The higher the battery power, the more power it carries;

  (2) Vehicle weight: This will not only affect mileage, but also greatly affect battery efficiency. Therefore, the lightweight of pure electric vehicles is more important than fuel vehicles;

  (3) Electrode efficiency: power lithium battery can directly output high-voltage DC. If asynchronous motor is to be used, high-power inverter shall also be used to convert DC to AC, which may cause some energy loss in this process;

  (4) Battery material: At present, BYD's high-end main pure electric vehicle products use lithium iron phosphate batteries. It is expected that the products in the later stage will buffer ternary lithium ion batteries, which means that the energy density will be further improved and the driving range will be basically significantly improved. At present, the new energy vehicle market is also pursuing low-cost, high energy density batteries.
