  First of all, let's talk about the advantages of 3.2V solar street lamp system voltage: 3.2V solar street lamp is cheap, and it is more economical to use this system voltage for small household solar lamps. Disadvantages: low brightness, low efficiency, high requirements for line body and LED lamp beads. Since the power of the solar street lamp is at least 20W, it will lead to excessive current, rapid damage to the light source, and instability of the system. After about two years of use, it will often lead to the replacement of lithium batteries and light sources

  The second is: 12V solar street lamp system voltage advantage: high brightness, working efficiency is about 20% higher than 3.2V system voltage, the system is stable, and the overall service life is longer. Disadvantages: Of course, the price will be higher than 3.2V solar street lamp. At present, the voltage on the market is mostly 12V, because it first uses colloidal lead-acid batteries, and then uses lithium batteries. We use 12V in Kazakhstan. 3.2V has just entered the market recently. We focus on turning on lights 365 days a year. If problems occur during this period, we will pay two dollars for each failure. According to the difference of system voltage, the traditional solar street lamp can reach about 80W at most (considering the heat dissipation problem, it is recommended to use a power less than 60W).

For example, the brightness requirements of domestic solar lamps are not too high, and low power light sources are usually used. In terms of economy and practicability, the voltage of 3.2V solar lamp system is more cost-effective. If it is installed on rural roads and the power of solar street lamps is usually greater than 30W, it is obviously more reasonable to use 12V sol
