  What is a battery? Chemical power supply, commonly known as battery, is a device that directly converts the energy released by chemical reaction of substances into electrical energy. As the name implies, the battery is a charging pool, especially a pool. The voltage and capacity of the battery are similar to the water level and storage capacity of the pool. The battery voltage indicates how much power the battery may release, and the battery capacity indicates how much power the battery stores. What are the components of the battery? Any battery consists of four parts: electrode, electrolyte, separator and shell. What is the electrode of the battery? The electrode is the core component of the battery. It is generally composed of active substance and conductive skeleton. Active substances are substances that can release electrical energy through chemical changes. The conductive skeleton plays an important role in conducting electrons and supporting active substances. The electrodes in the battery are divided into positive (electric) electrodes and negative (electric) electrodes. The end marked with+is positive, and the end marked with - is negative. How does the battery work? During the use and discharge of the battery, during the discharge of the battery, oxidation reaction is carried out on the negative pole, electrons are provided to the outside, reduction reaction is carried out on the positive pole, electrons are received from the external circuit, current flows from the positive pole to the negative pole through the external circuit, electrolyte is an ionic conductor, ions conduct electricity through the directional movement between the positive and negative poles in the battery, cations flow to the positive pole, and anions flow to the negative pole. The negative pole of battery discharge is anode, and the positive pole of battery discharge is cathode. The oxidation reaction takes place at the interface between the two conductors of the anode, and the reduction reaction takes place at the interface between the two conductors of the cathode. The whole battery forms a complete discharge system, which is composed of the electronic system of the external circuit and the ionic system of the electrolyte liquid, thus generating power supply.

  How are batteries made? The battery is the smallest unit in the battery system. Multiple batteries form a module, and then multiple modules form a battery pack, which is the basic structure of lithium battery for vehicle power. The battery is like a container for storing electric energy. How much capacity it can store depends on the amount of active substances covered by the positive and negative plates. The design of positive and negative poles shall be customized according to different models. The gram capacity of positive and negative electrode materials, the proportion of active materials, the thickness and compaction density of electrode sheets are also very important to the capacitance. The pulping and mixing process of active substances is to stir the active substances into slurry through a vacuum mixer. This is the first process of battery production. The quality control of this process will directly affect the quality of batteries and the qualified rate of finished products. Moreover, the process flow is complex, requiring high raw material ratio, mixing steps, mixing time, etc. What is stirred here is the active substance of the battery. In addition, dust shall be strictly controlled during mixing to prevent the impact of dust on battery consistency. The dust control level of the production workshop in Ningde Times is equivalent to the medical level. The stirred slurry is applied to the copper foil coating process. This process is to evenly smear the stirred slurry on the 4000 meter long copper foil at the speed of 80 minutes after the previous process. The copper foil before coating is only 6 microns thick, which can be said to be as thin as silkworm wings. The coating is very important to ensure the consistency of electrode thickness and weight, otherwise it will affect the consistency of the battery. The coating must also ensure that there are no particles, debris, dust, etc. in the electrode plate. Otherwise, the battery will discharge too fast, and even cause potential safety hazards.
