　　1、 The price is low.

　　The international price of 18650 is about 1USD/pcs, which is about 3RMB/Ah based on 2Ah. Compared with the price of high polymer lithium battery, the low-end counterfeit factories are at 4RMB/Ah, the mid-range is at 5-7RMB/Ah, and the high-end is above 7RMB/Ah. Such as ATL and Lishen, they can generally sell at about 10RMB/Ah, but others are not willing to take your order when it is smaller.

　　2、 It cannot be customized.

　　SONY has always been looking forward to making lithium batteries into dry batteries. There are some national standards, such as No. 5 batteries, No. 7 batteries, and most rechargeable batteries in the world. However, one of the advantages of lithium batteries is that they can carry out modeling design according to the customer's needs. It is unlikely that there will be a unified specification. So far, most of the products in the lithium battery field have only 18650, the standard model and specification. The other bases are all based on the customer's specified design scheme.

　　3、 Poor safety

　　Under extreme standards (such as charging, high temperature, etc.), lithium batteries will have strong chemical changes inside, which will result in a lot of vapor. The plastic shell of the rechargeable battery has a certain compressive strength. When the standard air pressure inside the rechargeable battery reaches a certain level, the aluminum shell of the rechargeable battery will crack and explode, causing a terrible production safety accident.

　　Therefore, the rooms where 18650 rechargeable batteries are inspected generally need to be protected layer by layer, and it is definitely forbidden to enter during the whole inspection process. This problem does not exist. Even under extreme conditions, because the packaging film has low compressive strength, it will crack if the working pressure of the gas is slightly higher, which is not easy to cause explosion. The worst case is ignition. Therefore, polymer lithium battery is better than 18650 rechargeable battery in terms of safety factor.

　　4、 Low energy density

　　Generally, the volume of 18650 rechargeable battery can reach 2200mAh, so the calculated specific energy is about 500Wh/L. At present, the specific energy of polymer lithium battery can reach 600Wh/L.
