As a result, the electrode material of the battery will "passivate", and the capacity will be lower than the normal value, resulting in a shorter usage time. But lithium batteries are easy to activate, as they can be activated and restored to normal capacity after 3-5 normal charging and discharging cycles. Due to the characteristics of lithium battery itself, it has almost no memory effect. Therefore, users do not need special methods or equipment during the activation process of new lithium batteries.
