The chemical attributes of lithium ion materials themselves do not cause battery uneven problems, nor do they have reversible self -discharge mechanisms. However, lithium -ion batteries must also go through a process to stabilize performance and cause irreversible losses. Most such losses appear before the battery leaves. A small amount of irreversible loss will occur at high temperature discharge and too long at room temperature. The maximum percentage of this loss is less than 10%. All the chances of loss occur at the same time or simultaneous use of batteries, so this situation does not cause the battery unevenness. In the case of irreversible loss, it is accompanied by a small amount of reversible loss, and there is a proportional relationship between the two. Most of the reversible loss in the factory has been charged again before the battery capacity is classified, so this type of loss is very small, and each battery is the same, which will not cause the battery uneven problem.
Another reason that causes an imbalance in the battery is that the battery is idle for a long time before assembly, and if several batteries with different batch production time are placed in the same battery package, this unevenness will be aggravated. In this case, batteries with different reversible losses through capacity classification but not yet assembled will have a greater difference over time. Even after assembly into a battery pack, if the battery in the bag changes greatly (especially when the battery pack is placed for too long), over time, the battery in the battery pack will increase.
