Can sodium battery replace lithium battery?

  (1) Recently, it was reported that a team of scientists found that sodium batteries could replace lithium batteries. This will be carried out at the Max Planck Institute for Solids in Stuttgart, Germany. If successful, it will produce a new generation of sodium batteries, much cheaper than lithium ion batteries, with the same or even greater capacity. There is no doubt that sodium battery has price advantage and larger capacity, but whether sodium battery can really replace lithium battery remains to be seen!
