1. Polymer battery life and charging cycle
The lifespan of lithium batteries is related to the number of charging cycles completed, rather than directly related to the number of charging cycles. After each charging cycle, the power will slightly decrease. However, the decrease was minimal. After multiple cycles, high-quality batteries can still maintain 80% of their original power. Of course, lithium batteries still need to be replaced at the end of their service life. Usually about five years. By analogy, if charging is random, the number of times is uncertain. In short, regardless of charging, the total power added is between 300q and 500q, which is constant. Therefore, we can also understand that the service life of lithium batteries is related to the total charge capacity of the battery, and is not related to the number of charges. Deep discharge and deep charging, as well as shallow discharge and shallow charging, have little impact on the lifespan of lithium batteries.
In fact, shallow discharge and shallow charging are more advantageous for lithium batteries. Deep discharge and deep charging are only required when calibrating the lithium battery of the product's power module. Therefore, products powered by lithium batteries do not need to adhere to this process. Everything comes first with convenience. They can be charged at any time without worrying about affecting their lifespan.
